Stay High

Super excited 'bout this post!  Got this radical shirt for Chirstmas and can't wait to show it off.  It's by one of my favorite and most bad-ass brands out there; UNIF.  They are the definition of playful personal style and I swoon over every piece they create.  Taryn and I had lots of fun shooting this.   Pool shoot in December? Only in California.  Candy + pool + UNIF = magical wonderfulness to the extreme :)

This weeks song is fackin' awesome.  Listen to the Tove Lo edit and vibe to it.  It's a perfect driving song, dancing song, running song, well pretty much perfect for anytime, enjoy!

Black Water

Sunsets on the California coast will forever rule my world. Got to meet up with my friend Dai in Venice Beach not long ago for a shoot. Dai and I met one random night this summer in Barcelona and I was blown away by his amazing photography skills. You can check out more of his work at www.shipwreckdai.com. This outfit choice was obviously a tribute to my devotion for black. You just can never go wrong. Happy Holidayz everyone!

Sit back, light one up and relax with this track by Timber Timbre.

Gronlandic Edit

Good afternoon my friends!  Hope December has been good to you all.  I know the holiday sales have been good to me ;)  Check out this dress I scored from a vintage store in LA.  I'm obsessed.  It must have been meant to be, because it fits me like a glove and completely matches my style.  It's from the early seventies and has this bright, psychedelic pattern all over.  I paired it with all black accessories to really emphasize the colors in the dress.  I also got this belt from an antique store for only five bucks YESS.  Nothing like finding cheap cute clothes, it makes my month.  Seriously, go check out your local Good Will or any other thrift stores, if you have patience you can find some killer steals.  Until next time!

Chose this song because Of Montreal is one of my favorite bands and I get to see them live next month!  If you don't know who they are already, I suggest you look them up and fall in love.  They are super unique and so are their songs.  Their videos are rad as well.

Purple Yellow Red and Blue

Nothing I love more then the colorful leaves of fall.. well that and clothes. Decided to sport my floral shift dress I acquired from the LF summer sale. Florals are always welcome year round in my closet. It was also just breezy enough to whip out my vintage denim acid wash jacket that I scored at a thrift store. A good thrifted find can seriously make my day. In the shoe department I went with these boots by my man Jeffrey Campbell and added a touch of winter with my Free People ruffle lined socks :)

The music choice today is inspired by this colorful time of year, also because Portugal. The Man is just amazing. Rhi and I have always been obsessed with this Portland based group and got to see them last year at Outside Lands. They rock, check out their music if you haven't asapppp.

Furr

Happy halloween to all!  Thought we'd celebrate the day with this kitty inspired look.  Taryn and I went on a little shopping adventure on Melrose Ave. this past weekend and boy did I score.  Found this awesome jacket that fit like a glove so I had to get it, of course.  I'm in love.  Not only will it add some fierceness to any 'fit, but it is so warm and cozy.  I also scored with these shoes.  Vegan leather red docs  for half their original price, YES PLEASE.  There was only one pair and they were my size so how could i deny them, right?  Buh-bye and have a super spooky night ;)

California Love

Hello lovely people, time for another blog update. It feels as though summer just isn't ready to part ways with us yet and I can't decided if I am okay with this or not. This jumpsuit seemed like the perfect transition from the summer to fall weather we have here in California and I was lucky to score it at the LF summer sale. I am obsessed with chevron print and once again we've displayed our undying love for black and white. This purse is also my new favorite statement piece, nothing says 90s like a sick ass holographic clutch. This material is really in with the street style crowd these days and I felt the need to add one to my life. Oh and hey i'm a ginger now, loving my new fall hair-color change and I hope you do as well. Happy sunday errybody! xoxox

PS.. In light of my new 90's clutch, it only seemed fit to take the tunage back in time with my man 2pac and that California luvin <3

Into the Mystic

Halllooo everyone! Let's start off the week with this maxi look.  If you have been keeping up with our posts, you know that we are huge fans of black and white and this 'fit is no exception.  BLACK AND WHITE FO LIFE.  Halter tops have been making a come back lately.  They are real flattering and add a little mix to the outfit.  Pair it with a long maxi to give a little balance to the amount of skin being showed.  I'm lovin this look and hope y'all do as well!

Gotta throw it back with the music choice today.  This song by Van Morrison has been one of my favorites all my life.  Always paying mad respect to the oldies.

Celebrating Nothing

Sisters together again and did we mention we love prints? Hanging out on the sunny central coast is the perfect place to rock them. We are big fans of bright colors and popping graphics, and we are not afraid to throw them all together and neither should you! Even though fall is here, it's so hard to dress in sweaters when it's still 80 degrees outside.. Cali problems. Our favorite part of fall fashion besides sweaters, BOOTIES! They just complete our lives. Happy friday people!

Take a listen to "Celebrating Nothing", Phantogram's new ep. We are huge fans of them! Go get your groove on with it this weekend.
