La Vie en Rose

Taryn & Rhi

Welcome to our Aunt's house, our very own Vintage dreamland. We decided to shoot a 50s inspired look while we were visiting her home since it is basically already a photo set on it's own! High-waisted jeans and shorts.. proof that denim is timeless and forever adored. Also, we could not be more in love with black and white contrast. It's grown to be such a favorite that we've just recently just committed to painting the walls of our attic shaped room (pics will definitely be up when our lair is complete). Finish the look with a pop of color if you are feeling our similar thirst for statement pieces, after all, who would we be without them. Enjoy friends!

Concrete Wall

Taryn

Back from Europe and feeling rustic. Went for the boho approach here which is where I've always felt the most at home. Big sweaters are a must, so comfortable and can be paired with anything; shorts, jeans, leggings, bam. Wide brim hats are also a fantastic statement piece for summer and definitely add to top off the fringe look. Hope you enjoy this free spirit summer fit <3

Star Eyes

Rhiannon

Happy summa everyone! Hope yours has been as enjoyable as mine.  I'm digging this latest look and lemme tell you why; PATTERNS.  I'm a huge fan of mixing prints, especially black and white prints on colored prints.  These shorts are amazing for summer.  They scream fun and look cute with any little crop top.  Black and white prints are so easy to work with, don't be scared of patterns, embrace them.  Baseball caps are also a must for the summer heat.  You'll find the best ones in the guy's department hahaha, that's where the one I'm sporting here came from.  Also, do you like this shirt?  If so, check out this sick brand called SugarHigh LoveStoned.  They have awesome clothing for the free spirited and gypsy gals out there.  So, if there is one thing you take from this post it's to let your funky self free and mix patterns and prints and rock a funky hat.  Peace out and from this day tripper.

P.S. Check out this song from one of my favorite artists Flume.  It is incredibly rad.
